Midori is a bright, green-colored, muskmelon-flavored cordial made by Suntory. It is manufactured in Mexico, though it was originally made in Japan until 1987. It began life in 1978 with a launch party held in New York's famous Studio 54.

Midori is usually 20-21% alcohol by volume. The name comes from midori, the Japanese word for "green".
