Mary Pickford
- 1 1/2 oz. white rum
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 drops grenadine
Mixing Directions:
Stir all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Note: be sure to use unsweetened pineapple juice, since both the grenadine and the white rum are sweet.
Background:
This prohibition-era cocktail is named after the early film actress, Mary Ada Pickford.
