For my review, I used Four Roses Single Barrel (the DrinkUPNY signature label) and it really shined through the initial attack with a mid-palate of sweet vermouth and a long wine-like finish that was definitely off-dry.

This cocktail brings some sweet to the classic yet still echo's the vermouth build up that makes this a manhattan. If you're not a fan of vermouth or that "wine" flavor, this cocktail is a no go for you.
